Michele Wilson Puzzles – THE QUEENS EMBARKATION – (900)

Claude Gelée, known as Le Lorrain, spent most of his career as a painter in Rome. He painted many imaginary ports in neo-classical decors inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Considered one of the main masterpieces in the history of art, this painting entitled The Embarkation of the Queen of Sheba is dated 1648. It is part of the collections of the National Gallery in London.
